How can I place a GTT order from the Upstox web platform?

Step 1: Log into your pro.Upstox.com account.

Step 2: Select a Stock or F&O scrip.

Step 3: Hover the cursor over the scrip to choose ‘Buy’ or ‘Sell’ or click on the 3 dots menu and click on Create GTT order.

Step 4: Select the ‘GTT order’ tab.

Step 5: Enter the desired quantity.

Step 6: Select product type as either ‘Delivery’ or ‘Intraday’.

Step 7: To place your GTT Order, select any one of the following: 

1. Select 'Above' if you want to buy or sell the scrip at a price above your stated price.

2. Select ‘Immediately’ if you want to buy or sell the scrip at the current price.

3. Select 'Below' if you want to buy or sell the scrip at a price below your stated price.

Step 8: Click on ‘Review buy order’.

Step 9: Then click on ‘Submit order’ and your GTT order will be successfully placed.

Step 10: Uncheck the checkboxes if you don't want to place your ‘Stop Loss’ and ‘Target’ orders simultaneously.
