What precautions should I take when using the multi-order cancellation feature?

When using the multi-order cancellation feature in the Upstox app, it is important to keep the following precautions in mind:

Cover Orders (CO):

If you have any Cover Orders with trigger-pending (child) orders associated with them, cancelling the order will result in the square off of your open positions. Please be aware of this before initiating the cancellation process.

Executed Orders:

While using the multi-order cancellation feature, it is possible that some of your open orders may get executed in the background. These executed orders, which are already completed before the cancellation, will be excluded from the cancellation process. Therefore, it is recommended to check the status of your orders after the cancellation to ensure that all intended orders have been successfully cancelled.
