NOTE: Due to discrepancies in data between BSE, NSE and CDSL, there have been instances where orders on one exchange can go through but not on another.
To resolve this, please link your PAN to your Aadhaar at the earliest by following the below steps. Don’t forget to confirm the status with us so we can unblock your accounts across these 3 bodies. This may take up to 5 business days.
If you’re using the updated version of the Upstox app, read this.
Step 1: Login to the Upstox app using your 6-digit PIN or biometrics.
Step 2: Click on ‘Account’ at the bottom of the screen.
Step 3: Click on ‘Profile’.
Step 4: Click on ‘My Account’.
Step 5: Click on ‘Profile’.
Step 6: Click on ‘PAN-Aadhaar linking’.
Step 7: Click on ‘Link Aadhaar to PAN’.
Step 8: Enter your PAN and Aadhaar details and then click on 'Validate'.
Step 9: Click on 'Continue To Pay Through E-Pay Tax'.
Step 10: Enter PAN details, mobile number for OTP verification. Then click on 'Continue'.
Step 11: Click on all ‘Proceed’ buttons to fill all the required details. Then Click on ‘Continue’.
Step 12: Select Assessment Year and Type of Payment in all ‘Proceed’ buttons Then Click on 'Continue'.
Step 13: Enter the amount in any above tab and then click on 'Continue'.
Step 14: Select your Bank, then click on ‘Continue’.
Step 15: Click on ‘Pay Now’.
Step 16: Check box on I agree to the terms and conditions.Then click on ‘Continue’.
Step 17: Once you submit the request. It will show ‘PAN Aadhaar linking’ in Progress. Come back to Upstox PAN-Aadhaar linking page (refer to Step 6) to update us after 4-5 business days.
Note: If your PAN-Aadhaar is not linked after 30th June 2023, you will not be able to trade on Upstox as your account will be blocked by the Exchange. Once your request is submitted it will take 4-5 working days to get your PAN linked with Aadhaar.
