Currently, the withdrawal process at Upstox takes considerable time. There is a day-end brokerage cycle and billing process, based on which the final balance is calculated, and then the payout is processed. This entire process takes over 24 hours if a withdrawal request is placed during market hours.

Instant withdrawal timings
This is subject to the below criteria:
As per SEBI, you can only withdraw funds after the settlement is done. Refer to the following link to understand the settlement cycle.
- You should not have any pending withdrawal requests.
- You cannot withdraw more than the available balance in your Upstox account.
- IMPS must be activated on your bank account.
- This feature is available on trading days between 10:00 AM and 6:00 PM (Monday to Friday).
- It is not available on trading or settlement holidays.
- Withdrawal limits range from ₹100 to ₹5 lakh per day, including both securities and commodities wallets.
- You should not have any open or closed orders in your Trading or Mutual Fund account.
- If you place multiple withdrawal requests exceeding ₹5 lakh or request withdrawals on non-trading days, those requests will follow the standard withdrawal process. Please check the withdrawal TAT.
- The used margin reflects the total amount utilized for open or closed positions, and it must be zero to place an instant withdrawal request.
- You cannot submit another instant withdrawal request while a current request is pending. There is no limit on the number of instant withdrawal transactions per day.
- Once the withdrawal is processed successfully, you will receive a confirmation via SMS and email.
